Lateral Tees
Lateral tees, also known as Y-pieces, branch at a 45° angle rather than 90°, reducing flow turbulence and pressure loss at the junction. They are preferred in applications where smooth flow transitions are critical, such as slurry transport, drainage, and certain process piping configurations. Shree Raj Steels fabricates lateral tees to custom specifications with full radiographic examination of welds.
