Spectacle Blind Flanges
Spectacle blind flanges, also called figure-8 blinds, consist of a solid disc (blind) and an open ring (spacer) connected by a tie bar. They are permanently installed in piping systems and rotated to either block or allow flow, providing a positive isolation method superior to valves. Shree Raj Steels supplies spectacle blinds to ASME B16.48 in all standard materials and pressure classes.
