Socket Weld (SW) Flanges
Socket Weld flanges have a recessed socket that receives the pipe end, then fillet-welded around the outside. They are designed for small-bore (NPS 1/2" to 4"), high-pressure piping where butt-weld preparation is impractical. The socket provides inherent alignment and a smooth bore transition. Shree Raj Steels supplies SW flanges in Class 150 through 2500 in all standard materials.
